Account-opening fees and required balances

If an application is declined and no account is opened, the applicable account-opening fee is refunded in full. Once an account has been approved and opened, the applicable account-opening fee is non-refundable. Account-opening fees are separate from minimum required balances and opening deposits.

Choose the route that reflects the legal applicant and intended account holder. If the business is a separate registered entity, use Business/Corporate; otherwise review the Personal route or contact the Help Desk for general guidance.

The review team will identify the outstanding category and provide the appropriate follow-up route for the application.
How much does it cost to open an account?
The published standard Bank Account Opening fee is $/€ 25,000. A Numbered Bank Account opening is € 50,000 and requires a € 500,000 minimum opening deposit. Review the Fees page for the complete current schedule.
